FAQs:
How are the drawings made?
My works are digitally hand drawn from photographs I have taken, using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Digital brushes are used to emulate a more physical painting experience.
What is the difference between Open Edition and Limited Edition Prints?
Open Edition prints will be printed continually, however, once Limited Edition prints are sold out, no more will be produced. This is reflected in the pricing, with limited editions costing more. The number of Limited Edition prints will be specified in the product description and also on the certificate of authenticity, which will accompany both open and limited edition prints. Each limited edition print will have the print number written on the back.
What is an Artist Proof?
An artist proof is a small number prints produced on top of a Limited Edition. These are usually test prints and not for sale.
What paper and printing method do you use?
All prints are Fine Art Giclée Prints on Hahnemühle Bamboo paper. The paper is natural warm toned paper with a 90% bamboo 10% cotton composition.
Postcard prints use a 400 gsm silk effect paper, with matte coating to protect the work and for ease of writing on the back.
What is a Certificate of Authenticity?
A certificate of authenticity assures that the work is done by the artist and is an essential piece of paperwork if the work is resold. All my Fine Art prints are also hand stamped on the front with an authentic Chinese seal of my name, alongside a hand written signature on the back.
WHY ARE PRINTS MADE TO ORDER?
Prints will be produced in small batches to avoid overstocking, storage issues, and waste. Limited Edition prints will be produced to a specified number in the product description.
How will my prints be delivered?
For prints sized A4 and under, these will be shipped in a flat, card backed envelope. Each print will be packaged in a cellophane envelope to ensure they are waterproof protected.
For prints of A3 size and above, these will be rolled and delivered in a triangular cardboard tube. They will also be in a cellophane envelope for water protection. If you know of any environmentally friendly alternatives, I’d love to know!
Multiple prints in the same order will only be charged one delivery fee. If multiple sizes are ordered, these will be delivered in packaging for the largest size print.
There are 2 flat fees for delivery. For UK customers this will be £4.50 Royal Mail 48 Tracked postage with a delivery aim of 2-3 working days. For international customers the flat fee is £7.50 for a Royal Mail International Tracked delivery service with a delivery aim of 3-5 working days for Europe, and 5-7 working days for the rest of the world.
Customers are responsible for any customs charges incurred.
